 Matthew West sang the National Anthem at a recent Colorado Rockies game in Denver. “Sorry we couldn’t get help you get a win,” tweeted West later to a Rockies fan after Colorado lost the game. “But it was a great night with me and my dad getting to visit the dugout,” said the singer who was once an aspiring baseball player.
Meanwhile, when Milwaukee Brewers star Corey Hart came up to the plate in a game last weekend, the song played on the Miller Park sound system was “Born Again” by Newsboys..
