TEEN GETS SPOT IN LIMELIGHT

Becky Chaplin does her thing at the Unity Christian Music Festival in Muskegon.

Eighteen year-old Becky Chaplin of Macomb Township, Mich. unexpectedly performed in front of nearly 20,000 people on Saturday.
The teen was called up on stage by the singer Mandisa at the Unity Christian Music Festival in Muskegon.Â
Chaplin had risen her hand when Mandisa asked if anyone knew the “rap” part of her song “Good Morning.”
Becky did the part (voiced by TobyMac on the recording) flawlessly. She said she’ll have that memory for a long time.
“I’ve been going through some things just like Mandisa, and I just felt God let me do this today,” she said afterward.
